Just curious. What would be better/more elegant/more responsive to implement in terms of QS, an internal object like Quicksilver Selection made from n levels of hierarchy or number of files that I could use with Show/Search Contents as a trigger, or a Search/Show Contents Recursively action that I could use with whatever object in the first pane?
