By 'focus' I mean being able to interact with the specific app. So what
I'm experiencing is that I can't interact with the specific app since it
doesn't have focus. I'm not sure if QS is coming to the front because I
have it set to appear with cmd+space in the menubar, but when I quit QS the
erratic switching between apps stops. And unless I have turned into a cat,
there's nothing other than my paws, er I mean, fingers typing on my
keyboard.

I first thought it was an issue with Alfred, because when I was calling up
Alfred with its hotkey it would act erratically. I made a screencast of it
yesterday to illustrate
(link<http://f.cl.ly/items/1X131p3y1N3Y330C1t0i/Schizo%20Mac.mov>).
But once someone on IRC recommended I quit QS, Alfred's bezel then
remained onscreen and clicking and focusing on other windowed apps were no
longer a problem (the guy thought Alfred's bezel was QS).

Currently everything's working fine. Once my Mac starts acting schizo
again, I'll do another screencast.

As for Event Triggers, here's a
screenshot<http://cl.ly/image/1I401H2v3i0B/Screen%20Shot%202013-03-21%20at%2012.41.44%20.png>
 of
what I got under custom triggers. I don't know if I have created any event
triggers or how to search for them.
