For an overview of many of the things Quicksilver can do, take a look at the manual. (It's due to be updated soon inline with v1.0 so it may be a bit out of date but it's still useful)
What you probably want to do is go to the plugin preferences<http://qs.qsapp.com/plugins>, and look through the 'recommended' plugins and their associated documentation (click the '?' to see this). This will explain what the plugins do and how they can be used to make your life easier. A few examples include: * Install the Web Search Plugin to enable you to search Google/Yahoo/YouTube/Wikipedia etc. from Quicksilver * Install the iTunes plugin to get access to your iTunes media and play/pause songs, show notifications when tracks changed etc. * Install one of the browser extensions (Firefox/Safari/Opera/Chrome) to have your bookmarks in Quicksilver, and to make use of the 'Current Web Page' proxy (great when you want to paste the current web page into a certain application) On 27 March 2013 07:32, Bill <[email protected]> wrote: > So, I've been using QuickSilver for about 4 years now.
