1.1.0 is currently a pre-release. If you’re willing to put up with more bugs, 
you can change the type of updates you get in Preferences → Extras.

We’ve just never done it. It’s sort of a gray area anyway. If a pre-release 
turns out to be stable enough, it just becomes a final release without any 
further changes. Since the release notes originate within the application 
itself, the dates would never be right.
