Thanks, Jon. Your directions are very clear and I have been able to do that. There is a problem with the operation of the script.
When I summon up QS' clipboard history and use arrow keys to highlight a clip, when I press return QS ignores what is highlighted and pastes whatever is top of the list. I use option-command-V to get the clipboard history, but I don't think that would matter.
