I just reread your last post and noticed one small thing in what you said
that I didn't before, and that thing is probably the source of your
difficulties.

It sounds like you are using the floating clipboard history palette. If
that is the case, the script I posted above won't really do anything for
you. Items on the floating palette can be pasted simply by pressing the
keyboard key of the number listed on the left side of their entry in the
list. So using the screenshot I included in my last post, if I wanted to
paste the string of text "p a:visted" from the palette into the current
document, I'd just pop open the palette and then press 4. when the
However, this will always use Quicksilver's normal pasting behaviour,
which won't use the script I posted above for you.

For your purposes, you should use the command window method. Bring up
Clipboard History in the first pane and run the Show Contents action on it.
QS will pop back up with the list as show in my second screenshot. From
here you can choose one of your items, and then use the Paste Directly
action on it.

Since you plan to use this method often, I recommend that you make a
trigger in QS's preferences to run Clipboard History > Show Contents
whenever you press your desired key combo (⌥⌘V). Then QS will pop up with
the clipboard history list already open in the first pane, ready to go.
