The most recent File Attribute plug-in requires 10.9. The update system should have only shown you the previous version, but that’s not working for some reason. I’ll look into it.

For now, you should manually go back to the last version.

Show Playing Track trigger makes QS crash if no item is selected in iTunes.

What do you mean by “nothing selected”? Nothing playing, or nothing
highlighted in the UI? Either way, I wasn’t able to crash it.

The trigger crashes QS whenever a non-Library item is played or paused
(e.g. from iTunes Store)

Like when previewing a track? I get an [expected] error in the Console, but no crash.

iTunes Communication Error: The operation couldn’t be completed. (OSStatus error -1728.)

or when Library items aren't played or paused.

So there’s no blue speaker next to anything and hitting ⌘L just beeps? In that state, I get the same error as above on the Console. No crash.
