Hello, I have loved Quicksilver for years, but OS X 10.9 Mavericks appears to have hobbled my favorite feature.
Previously, when I used a Trigger to send the Open command to switch to an application that was already open, the application would Activate and its frontmost window would receive Focus. I suspect this behavior was essentially the same as the "shows the front window" option for "Reopening the current application" in the Extras section of the Quicksilver Preferences. This "Reopening" behavior also appears to be broken in Mavericks. Now that I am running Mavericks, using a Trigger to Open an application that is already running brings all the windows for that application to the front. This is functionally equivalent to using command-tab to switch to an application, and this change in behavior has crippled my workflows. I often have multiple windows open in multiple applications (e.g. Google Chrome and Microsoft Excel), but I usually only want to see one window from an application at a time. Previously, Quicksilver made it possible for me to use the keyboard to bring forward only a single window so I could still see windows in applications other than the one that has the Focus (i.e. the frontmost window on the screen). Often, I am be writing an email in Chrome in a small window that is on top of a larger Excel window that contains the data that I'm writing about. The way that Quicksilver now switches between applications, when I switch from Excel to Chrome, all of my Chrome windows move to the foreground and obscure the Excel window that I need to see while I write the email in Chrome. Is there any way to restore the previous functionality such that switching to an application will only bring the frontmost window of that application to the front/foreground?
