I think I’ve seen this, but forget what it was. I *think* it was just
a screwy Finder and restarting it fixed everything, so not much help in
your case.
Here are some things to check, at least.
* Clear caches by running `rm -r ~/Library/Caches/*Quicksilver` in
Terminal and restarting Quicksilver. (This should have already happened
when you installed the new version, so probably won’t make a
difference.)
* In Preferences → Handlers, make sure your File System Browser is
set to “Finder Selection” (assuming you don’t use Path Finder)
* Launch `/Applications/Utilities/Console.app` and search for
“Quicksilver”. See if anything looks relevant.
* Do other actions for files work? Like Reveal, or Get Path?
