I am both a new Quicksilver user and a new Mac user. My Mac Mini is running OSX 10.9.3 Mavericks.
I have just installed Quicksilver 1.1.3. Plugin installation failed on install. I also cannot get plugins to install via Quicksilver preferences. Per the Quicksilver user manual, I have ensured I am the owner of ~/ Library/Application Support/Quicksilver/. I have done a complete uninstall of Quicksilver, including manual deletion of Quicksilver folders from ~/Library/Application Support/Quicksilver/, • ~/Library/Preferences/com.blacktree.Quicksilver.plist, ~/Library/Caches/Quicksilver/, and dragging the installer from Dowloads to the Trash. Then I rebooted the Mac, re-downloaded the installer, and reinstalled--again plugin installation failed and again plugins will not install via Quicksilver preferences. (No plugins will even display in Quicksilver preferences.) The Quicksilver change log says the most recent version is 1.2, but the download page provides 1.1.3 for Mavericks. Am I doing something wrong? Does 1.1.3 not use any plugins? Should I install 1.2, and if so, how do I access it? Thanks very much for any clues. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quicksilver" group.
