Is it possible to push and pop items onto a stack from Quicksilver? Consider the following scenario: I comma-select a few files and I compress them. Now I want to delete the originals. Oops, the comma-selected list is gone. I can comma-select again, hoping I grabbed the same set and move them to the trash. What about the archive? I better go fetch that again. Now, where to put the archive... oh, in a directory that doesn't exist yet. OK, I have a template for that, it doesn't work perfectly for directories but I can make one in the right place. Now I need to go back and find the archive yet again to move it to the directory.
Now the same scenario again, with quick triggers to operate a stack: I comma-select a few files. <Push>. I compress them, and the archive appears. <Swap>. Move to trash. Navigate to where I want to put the archive. Make the directory. <Swap>. Move To... <Pop>. Done. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quicksilver" group.
