I just fired up a new Mac Mini (2014) which has given me the first look at
OS X 10.10 (10.6.8 until hard disk failure on an old machine intervened).
I'm working out my glitches in understanding how it all works with QS 1.2.0
(400 F). One thing I'd like help with is how to assign a trigger to Restart
and Shut Down. I've got the scripts module checked and in attempting to set
up the trigger Restart and Shut Down scripts will show up in the first
panel of the set up. When activated, however, they call the Script Editor
program and I have to manually run the script. I find no "run" option in
panel two. I remember that in Snow Leopard and a previous iteration of QS I
was able to set up the trigger and it worked, but I've forgotten just how I
did it. Thanks in advance . . . Fred Weiner
