Looking at the listed contents of the directory you mentioned I do see there are entries for QSPresetRemovableVolumes.qsindex, QSPresetFavoriteServers.qsindex, QSPresetRecentServers.qsindex, among others that could point to off-computer resources--but all those indexes are empty. I've done some Catalog pruning, anyway, now I better understand the custom entries, and I'll see if it gets any better. But why should the problem be connected to the Catalog at all, if QS is only rescanning once a day and I get the unresponsiveness occurring many times a day? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quicksilver" group.
