I wanted to say thanks for all suggestions. In the end, it turned out to be the Firefox plugin. It was picking up searches from an addon that formats the searches %s vs using *** for search term. I don't know if that was giving me spinning beachball but when disabled, all of those searches disappear and problem was solved - except searching. I did not realize this process: http://blog.qsapp.com/post/4866725595/searching-the-web-with-quicksilver Duh! This worked best to setup custom search for various sites. It really is the best way too. Too much stuff in the populated lists.
P.S> The safari plugin doesn't seem to have the same issue. On Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:56:39 PM UTC-8, Chris wrote: > > Can't figure out what I should do to get this working normally.
