Anyway, the problem is that when I run the shell script, it will open a new quicksilver pane with the content of the output within the first pane as

So I have to hit escape every time I run the script using quicksilver.

For the moment, whether or not an action causes the interface to reappear is somewhat hard-coded into the action.

You can edit the action’s entry in the plug-in’s property list to change the behavior. Open `~/Library/Application Support/Quicksilver/PlugIns/com.blacktree.Quicksilver.QSTerminalPlugIn.14E.qsplugin/Contents/Info.plist` and look for “displaysResult” under the action in question and change it to `NO`.

Some things to be aware of:

* You’ll need to repeat that every time the Terminal plug-in gets updated. * That will change the behavior for the action every time, so if there are commands you run where you *want* the result to appear, it won’t. * The result will still be selected in Quicksilver’s interface. You’ll just have to call it back up manually. * There are several ways to run Unix commands in Quicksilver and most of them don’t display the result. It looks like your script is just a toggle and takes no arguments. Maybe see if there’s another action you can use so you don’t have to hack the plug-in.

Now, off topic… Tell me about this “5.1 Channel Audio” output. What do you have hooked up?
