The wiki on GitHub is meant to replace the PDF version of the Manual,
not the wiki at qsapp.com. It is the manual linked to from the support
page.
I’m not sure why the manual is linking to the qsapp.com wiki as if
it’s been retired. While it does have some outdated info, it is still
the active wiki. (Contributions and updates welcome.)
As for announcements, it was just a test to see if it would work out. At
some point we decided it was good enough, but it was a long process so
no specific point triggered the urge to announce something.
