You know... I've noticed lately - just after I'd finally got used to always be 
sure to first launch QS on the non-retina, external display in fact - that I 
can launch QS for the first time after a boot on either screen and it's 
perfectly happy.  No more crashes.  I wonder if this was consequent on the 
update to 10.14.2?  Anyway, it is so and I'm very happy about it.  Anyone else 
as a matter of interest?
