Yes. It is in my prompt. Here is a default example:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]: ~ >

(I prefer the > sign over # or $)

and this one is what confused you:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]: /home/rml/build >

(just happened to be in a 'build' directory)
