#1825: zsh-4.3.1 --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- Reporter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Owner: [email protected] Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: 6.2 Component: BOOK | Version: Severity: normal | Resolution: Keywords: utf-8 | --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- Comment (by [EMAIL PROTECTED]):
The command line editor understands UTF-8 (unlike the previous versions of zsh). The shell itself is not UTF-8 ready. The improvement in the command line editor still counts as such, because in the previous versions of zsh, the user in UTF-8 based locale could not even see some non-ASCII characters he types at the command line. -- Ticket URL: <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/ticket/1825> BLFS Trac <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs> Beyond Linux From Scratch -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-book FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
