I ran into the same problem. After toying with it a bit, when attempting
to use system installed xulrunner, nss, and nspr, I noticed that that it
is also trying to build the installer, even though the installer is
explicitly disabled. TB3 is on the way too, so hopefully soon, the whole
mozilla stack can share the same xulrunner.
