This should probably be a wiki entry but I don't have rights to edit it.
If you see "Use of the `network' resource not enabled" during the Python
test suite. You can enable these tests by following these instructions:

Once you do that though, you will get a failure with test_ssl that should
be ignored. The test has been fixed upstream, see
[http://bugs.python.org/issue8322].
