Note that there is a pending 2.0 release as well.
For the p374 release, the --enable-pthread parameter is obsolete and
ignored. The new YAML engine is Psych
(https://github.com/tenderlove/psych), which is a wrapper for the libyaml
library.
Also, we could pass the --ridir parameter to install the ri docs in the
/usr/share/doc hierarchy instead of /usr/share/ri.
