As I suggested on the list, move a minimal bitmap font to a separate page
(now called legacy), along with old libXfont and bdftopcf. One the Xorg
fonts page reduce the fonts to only TTF and Type1. And change Xorg-7.7 to
Xorg-7 in page titles.
In the book, tigervnc will require the legacy packages because it still
uses an old xorg-server, and xscreensaver can benefit from the 100dpi
fonts (while checking on a wording change, I came upon an old doc from
2002 recommending 100dpi fonts for screens >= 1024x768, so I guess the
75dpi really are redundant.
It is my understanding that none of the packages on the fonts page are now
required by other packages in the book '''provided''' a TTF/OTF monotype
font is installed for xterm and other TTF/OTF fonts for other desktop
packages.
Following comments from akiezher I have reinstated the Adobe Utopia Type1
font which had fallen out, and reworded the text at the start of the Xorg
legacy page.
But I have no wish to spend time bike-shedding on -dev about the wording
(it can be changed at any time), nor about whether we should keep the full
set of ugly bitmap fonts on the legacy page.

So, a simple question : Do, or Not do ?
