Please explain why you removed --with-system-boost and
--with-system-openssl, your comment that 0.66.0 and 1.0.2 does not
agree with my results.
I have built 6.1.0.3 with boost_1.68.0 and (only) openssl-1.1.0i on
8.3-rc, and with added java packages (java probably now updated, but
using apache-ant-1.10.5 to test the *old* sql deps) on
LFS-svn-20180808.
The reason is that the build failed for me with those packages. When I
removed them, boost-1.66.0 and openssl-1.0.2 were downloaded. This was a
bit time consuming since I had to go through the build three times. The
first time the build indicated a failure with boost so I removed
system-boost. The second with openssl, so I removed system-openssl. The
third time was successful.
I did not keep logs of the unsuccessful builds.
My first attempt with system boost had failed fairly quickly, but
the symlink I added to the boost instructions fixed that.
I missed that symlink. Sorry.
I then
went on and ran my normal build (without junit). Later I did a
DESTDIR build with junit.
For 8.3, the only reasons I had not offered to tag it were that it
was something I had updated (the old "can't see my own omissions"
problem), and that I was not using junit.
When I've updated my scripts to ensure all the packages are current,
I'll try the full book-style libreoffice build on my latest 8.3
system.
Still don't recall seeing any openssl issues with libreoffice in
recent months.
OK, thanks.
