Unless there's some compelling reason to update the XFce package for the BLFS-6.0 release, I'm going to reflag this package update as 'future' instead of BLFS-6.0.
I suggest updating to 4.2.0, which is much better than 4.0.4 (it also has support for antialiased fonts) and will not require great changes to the book instructions.
The only differences in the instructions are:
1) the xfprint module has two required dependencies: a2ps and psutils (both already in the book, in the chapter about postscript)
2) individual components must be built in the order documented in the README file.
With these little modifications to the instructions a BLFS user who doesn't want to waste 5 hours building KDE or Gnome can finally have a complete desktop environment in less than half an hour.
