Disregard my comment about this. It was a last minute add on and I didn't reread the page when I composed the post.
However, I'm all for dumping the patch and just saying Net-Tools is a required dependency and be done with it until after BLFS-6.0. I know that's a cop-out, but it sure makes it easy.
I think its done, but we just need a review. No text change required -- just update the patch.
