Hmmmm.... This is from your patch:

+ install -d -m755 -o root -g root /etc/xinetd.d &&

I can't imagine how or why there would have been an existing command
to create the /etc/xinetd.d directory. :-)

Either you do it, or another editor will have to do it. :-)
