May I suggest using Ctrl-F ('Edit'-'Find in this page' drop-down menu)
to quickly find anything in the TOC. Works very good.
It is sometimes difficult to find a particular package in the TOC,
but scanning through the 8-10 packages (some more, some less) is
not difficult. It's finding the right section. Which isn't the issue
we're discussing.
My feeling is the packages in each *section* should be arranged to
show the proper build order. Certainly we can't help having a build
order from different sections. This requires following the dependency
links.
But if Package A depends on Package B and Package A is listed first
in a particular section, it could lead to confusion for some.
Surely, you aren't having trouble find the packages, as you describe,
Bruce. If so, you are looking in the wrong sections. There is nothing
we can do about this, except for using the search utility in your
browser, which is only a key press away. :-)
