With all due respect, and with the utmost consideration for your issue, how does this fit into a -dev issue? Problems with a binary version of *anything* should probably go to -support. This thread is centered on getting BLFS to the JDK-1.5 version. Support issues on a binary version of Ooo doesn't seem to fit here.
