Do we have a proposed fix? There are a couple of suggestions in the
bug, but I don't see anything definitive.

Which of the alternative fixes do you propose we use?

OK

How well has the proposed patch been tested?

Do we have confirmation of the problem (or the fix)?

Right now there are 38 outstanding 6.1 bugs. Of these, 14 have been
accepted by editors. Which bugs do you suggest we postpone?

Several of these probably are pretty quick: 1362, 1380, 1430, 1434,
1447, 1448, 1453, 1364, 1365.

I think we should probably defer 1433, 1449, 1451.

I'm open to specific suggestions like you gave above.
