Hi all,

I just committed an update of the GCC-3.3 version to 3.3.6. In doing so,
I noticed (unfortunately after I committed) that the linkonce patch says
in the headers that it was applied upstream. Seeing how this is the most
recent version of GCC-3.3, I would guess that the patch is no longer
required.

However, I distinctly remember applying this patch and there were no
conflicts. Does anyone have an idea whether or not this patch is still
required? I used it and the package compiled just fine, and I am using
both gcc and g++ from this version to do some testing right now. I
cannot tell by applying this patch (and that maybe I shouldn't have)
that anything seems abnormal.

Any help would be appreciated.
