I suggest 's/is needed by /may be needed by some /'. The debian bugs in popt were for m68k and a BSD-*-GNU combo. As I said earlier, a few packages in BLFS need this treatment for x86_64 (and powerpc64, which even CLFS doesn't support at the moment), but they are packages which predate the introduction of these processors.
