Not to argue, but because I'm actually curious, why would I consider using SVN versions of k3b for instance, when the most recent stable tarball is barely more than a month old. Have new features been added? If we are going to seriously look at packages for inclusion in the BLFS book, shouldn't we be looking at, and testing, the 'stable' versions? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the information you've provided so far and am interested in any other information you may be able to provide. I'm glad I brought this up about a KDE CD player. I never knew about k3b, but from reading about it (I have not installed it yet) it sounds like it is very good. And, or course, comes highly recommended from everyone that has offered an opinion. -- Randy rmlscsi: [GNU ld version 2.15.94.0.2 20041220] [gcc (GCC) 3.4.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.4] [Linux 2.6.10 i686] 16:46:00 up 129 days, 2:10, 3 users, load average: 0.04, 0.01, 0.12 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
