Dan, I cannot tell you how grateful I am that you downloaded and
looked at this. Kind of surprising, actually, as I didn't think
anyone would actually go through the trouble of installing all the
required tools.

Your comments have inspired me in human spirit and unexpectedness.
Wow, is all I can say. And we're already probably *way* off-topic
for BLFS-Dev. (hmm, should RMLCopyDVD be a BLFS package?) :-)

It does work kick ass. And what I like about it is that it only
copies the VOB with the main stuff. All the cruft, fluff and
extras on a DVD are stripped away.

Well, it is easy. I can forward you links that hand-hold you in
learning it. Wow, Autotools are so cool, and so powerful. I always
thought it was magic, not I realize it is just good tools.

I will copy them into here:

This I will look into right now. I didn't do anything special
with man pages other than default autotool installation. I will
have to check it out and see what is up.

Yes, I already discovered this. See: http://www.mcmurchy.com/rmlcopydvd/

This doesn't surprise me. See the PROBLEMS file in the source. I
need input here. Additionally, I got lazy and didn't put checks in
the script I should have, to eliminate what you got.

I'll definitely be looking into this one. Thanks for the hack. I
will see where I went wrong. I tried to test as methodically as
possible, but there is only so much one guy can do with limited
access to DVD hardware.

Dan, again, I cannot tell you how grateful I am to you.

To others who feel this is off-topic for BLFS-dev, I send my
sincere apologies and ask for your suggestions on where to move
this conversation.
