OK, so a little wrap up here. After I add in the fixes sent by
Alexander and Andy, there's a couple little things to do.
1. Should we add info to the Xterm page for adjusting the locale and
fonts? Ken says yes. Essentially it will be this:
cat >> ~/.Xresources << "EOF"
*VT100*locale: true
*VT100*faceName: Monospace
EOF
However, one thing I was thinking was adding it to the system default.
This get's installed
${prefix}/lib/X11/app-defaults/{Xterm,Xterm-color,UXterm}. So, that
info can be added to app-defaults/Xterm.
2. What about the Fontconfig tweaks for /etc/fonts/fonts.conf?
Should they be on the page or in the Wiki? Should some of them be
moved to the Fontconfig page? I'm thinking that in the configuration
section of Fontconfig, I will link to the Xft discussion since this is
the only spot in the book were font usage is actually discussed.
