ntp hasn't changed since 2003. Looking at the changelog, they have
fixed it to compile with gcc4, but I don't see much else that affects
us. There are *very* few changes for three years.
I wouldn't bother to update an already running installation with this
version.
Opinions?
It's a bit off topic, but ntp doesn't need to be configured with
--prefix= or --sysconfdir=
