I'm starting to update ntp and am unsure how to proceed. The current
version is now ntp-4.20a-20060224.tar.gz. Do we use this name or just
ntp-4.20a in the title? I lean toward ntp-4.20a, but I have another file
on my system that is ntp-stable-4.2.0a-20050816.tar.gz (date change)
and the current tarball unpacks to ntp-4.20a-20060224.

What happens of they release another *stable* ntp-stable-4.2.0a-2006????
file?

ntp hasn't changed since 2003. Looking at the changelog, they have
fixed it to compile with gcc4, but I don't see much else that affects
us. There are *very* few changes for three years.

I wouldn't bother to update an already running installation with this
version.

Opinions?
