As I was the one, who reported the error, I can confirm, that doxygen works
flawlessly here. I've nearly built all API documentation of the BLFS packages
I use and didn't have a problem.

I have it running... Not really used it, because I only have it installed for
using the Kopete LaTeX plugin. But compilation worked.

Have it installed to be used by PHP and could test it.

Would be interesting, if somebody encounters the same problem I had, when
building the speakertest application. But nevertheless. The normal packages
of 1.0.12 work very well on my system.

Have it running here, but without the patches. So no info about that.

Regarding KDE 3.5.4... What about adding the QT visibility patch to the book?
I'm not so much into the whole thing, but the GCC wiki states, that enableing
visibility for a program increases the performance and as we now have a GCC
4.1.1 based system, it would be a good idea to use it.
