I agree. It would appear that the /etc/dbus-1/session-local.conf file is generally unnecessary unless specific problems arise. That is said in the book right now, but I missed the "If changes are required" phrase. When doing a lot of packages, its easy do miss small things. Somehow I think I'm saying that we should consider a highlighted comment to not add /etc/dbus-1/session-local.conf unless you know you need it.
