Was this a recent change in the run-mozilla.sh script that I don't see because of the older version? Is there any chance that this comes from your window manager's default browser setting? As far as the netscape symlink, I think that is probably way outdated info. I haven't created that link in a long time, and haven't seen any problems with it.
