Hello again,

sorry for the late reply. It may well be my Windowmanager who tries to
start Netscape as a default, however I was not able to find a config
parameter for "default browser". I am using fluxbox.

Concerning the netscape symlink I just wanted to state that *if* the
book suggests this link, something has to be done to make it work again.
Leaving the link out of the book sure is a valid option, too.
