I'll look at doing that. Hard though, as I don't even own a
computer that has a modem any more. I would however, trust the
LiveCD setup. Thanks for the suggestion, Alexander.

I haven't checked that section to see what is there, but if
storing the passwords in clear text is not listed as an option,
perhaps it should for folks that wish to do that. We would
just simply have to post a 'caution' that clear text passwords
could be vulnerable.

Unfortunately, it appears that much of BLFS could soon be
unsupportable. Nobody other than me has made an update to the
book in almost two months (a couple of days short of two
months according to the changelog).

I realize we are all busy (including me) right now, but
hopefully we can get time to at least get a 6.3 version
out. I'll also look in to recruiting some additional folks,
as without Editor help, BLFS will soon die.
