Exactly. I am guilty of putting in Recommended dependencies for packages that probably don't need it. That's one of the reasons that I want to go through them. I think many of the Recommended should probably be in Optional (with a parenthetical note), that way the user has the option. DJ's NSS case is different, as that is the perfect place for a Recommended dependency.
