Nice!  I'm going to have to give that a whirl.  I didn't realize it
was a descendant of xmms.  Looking at the BLFS page for it, I see it
is mentioned but at the end of the page, not at the introduction at
the top.  Thanks Andrew.

On the subject of GSview, you're right Michael there doesn't seem to
be anything out there that works quite like it.  I did find a note on
Russel Lang's GSview website beta page:

So it looks like he's making progress towards supporting the newer
gtk, but it's not ready yet.
