As you may well know I have used trinity quite a lot, and I will vote 
for dropping trinity.

I have switched back to KDE4 and it seems to work well for me now.
I have dropped out of the trinity arch linux team as well.  Trinity 
offers nothing new and is not making good progress going forward.  
Trinity still has problems existing with other desktop environments.
For me to recommend trinity it would need to install into /usr and have 
no issues using QT4 apps,  in my opinion I don't think they are going to 
get there anytime soon and I am not going to wait as KDE4 is making good 
progress.
