Actually have a Palm Tungsten E I wanted to resurrect someday.  Last
time I tried PilotLink (was a few years ago), it did not work (I think
it wanted the device node to exist, before it would find it.  I
couldn't make it work).  I think I had it working in the days pre udev
though.

I get the sense that palm os garnet devices has it's best days behind
it though,  probably time to stop supporting it.
