We are making very good progress and the number of packages that need to be updated is going down every day. I'll be starting on the multimedia and printing packages today.
Right now there are 71 packages still marked as lfs72. I noticed several of these have been updated recently (e.g. gnome-calculator, gedit, and some X drivers).
