Hi all,

We sometimes install a small executable script with a package (I am thinking
of mkcacerts for OpenJDK).
Should we list it in "Installed Programs"?

  Why not ?
Well, because sometimes it is not listed (as in the case above, althought the script has been there for ages).
If it is listed AND has an index entry, then people
can find it in longindex.html.
Sure. That's why I asked.

OTOH, we often do not provide index entries for some things,
particularly libraries - I am guessing that is mostly because we
don't know exactly what they do (if there is one library in a
package, we can usually make a guess, but if there are many then it
depends on finding documentation.

Also, in some cases there is an argument for not listing everything
(e.g. TeX), if only because the page would be so long.

I made my mind for this case, I think: will include it.

Thanks
Pierre
