I am sorry to say that I am not. I had that question about openldap, because I am building KDE, and ldap is needed. What I am doing right now, is to try to build a whole BLFS, but testing _all_ the instructions, even those that are "optional". It takes a long time, so I cannot help with updates (I may update gcc, swig, and openjdk if necessary).
