I noticed that the following man directories are not in MANPATH:

/opt/kde/share/man

/opt/libreoffice/share/man

/opt/qt4/share/man

It is simple to add then to the corresponding /etc/profile.d/*.sh
files.
e.g.

pathappend $KDE_PREFIX/share/man MANPATH

Should they be fixed? I fixed in my dev system.

I think so. The KDE setting should be in kde.sh created in the KDE
pre-install page. We probably also need to set up a default MANPATH in
/etc/profile.

OK. Thanks

Perhaps qca (only one page) and libreoffice (11 pages) should install in
/usr/share/man/man1

Sorry, I think it should be where the corresponding object is, because
of updating, removing, any operation, in general, would not risk to
leave a man page for a corresponding non-installed.

For KDE and Qt{4,5}, it can be added to the corresponding .sh at
/etc/profile.d. For LO, add to extrapaths.sh?

Related, but different.

I was intrigued by the fact that there is no man dir under

/opt/qt5/

I think those are only from qca. I don't think qt normally has man
pages. They do have extensive html documentation though.

OK, thanks. Perhaps predicting things that might install them there, it
wouldn't be wrong to include the man pages path, as I suggested above?

I think we'll just have to disagree on this point. However, I don't
feel real strongly about it. I can live with your approach.

Restating my position:

qca should install in QT4DIR/QT5DIR so apps building with qca will find
the .pcf file and it has the appropriate contents.

The single qca man page and the 11 libreoffice man pages should install
in /usr/share/man/man1. Of course if QT4DIR/LO_PREFIX are set to /usr,
that's where they would be anyway.

There are no man pages for Qt4 or Qt5 so that should not be addressed.

The initial MANPATH is already set in profile.xml. I have added

pathappend &kde-dir;/share/man MANPATH

to my sandbox for creating /etc/profile.d/kde.sh and will update at my
next commit.

LOL.

No problem, at all.

I don't have strong feelings neither. Will do as you think.

I would like to ask you, please, to do them, if you don't mind, I
wouldn't want to interrupt the updates.

OK, I'll update. I'll create a ticket though.
